Job summary

Holder Construction in Chester, VA is seeking a Logistics Foreman to join our team on site. This full‑time, in‑person role coordinates site logistics, works with subcontractors, maintains signage and walking paths, and ensures safe, efficient material movement across the site.

The ideal candidate has up to 4 years of field coordination experience, strong communication, and physical stamina. OSHA‑compliant environment, willingness to overtime and weekends, and good overall fitness are required.

Qualifications

• Technology inclined; must have a computer and iPad to update site logistics plans.
• Up to 4 years of experience coordinating workflow for construction sites.
• Strong communication skills, time-management, and integrity.
• Agile/mobile, remains alert, able to stand or walk for long periods, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, able to read/write, and able to see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lbs. about 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Work with subcontractors to coordinate activities around the site, including excavations, walk paths, deliveries, crane activities, etc.
• Maintain site signage and designated walking pathways.
• Communicate efficiently to multiple parties onsite.
• Communicate logistics plans both internally and externally.
