Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer Foreman to join our on-site team in Chester, VA. This full-time, in-person role requires coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining signage, and communicating logistics plans across teams.

The ideal candidate will have up to 4 years of site coordination experience, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs. OSHA safety practices are expected.

About the Role

We are looking for a Laborer Foreman to join our team on site in Chester, VA. This is a full-time, in person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Will work with subcontractors to coordinate activities around the site including excavations, walk paths, deliveries, crane activities, etc.
• Will maintain site signage and designated walking pathways
• Needs to be able to efficiently communicate to multiple parties onsite
• Responsible for communicating logistics plans both internally and externally

Qualifications

Required:

• Needs to be technology inclined. Will need computer and iPad for updating sitelogisticsplans.
• Qualified candidates will possess up to 4 years of experience in coordinating workflow for construction sites.
• Candidates will also possess strong communication skills, time management and will lead with integrity.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time

Preferred:

• Individuals must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
