Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Manasses, VA. This is a full-time position that supports field supervision, maintains a clean and safe worksite, and assists carpenters and the safety team.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of construction experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the stamina to stand or walk for long periods; OSHA safety awareness is preferred and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge
• Ability to provide primary support to field supervision
• Ability to think critically to solve issues on the worksite
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be agile/mobile, able to stand or walk for long periods, able to reach and manipulate objects, climb ladders/scaffolds
• Able to read/write and see/hear well with or without correction
• Able to lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lbs. for 75% of the time

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the worksite.
• Assist safety team.
• Handle and move jobsite materials.
• Assist carpenters with projects.
• Help load and unload deliveries.
