About the Role

We are looking for a General Foreman to join our Operations team on our project site in Manasses, VA. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of laborers to provide a safe/organized working environment and clean jobsite.
• Move materials, pick up trash and debris and adapt to meet individual needs of each situation.
• Execute assigned tasks and provide front‑line leadership to our laborers.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will possess 2 years of construction and 1 year of team leadership experience.
• Understand safety and general constructability knowledge; able to work side by side with the team when necessary and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks; maintain professionalism; OSHA 10 training at minimum/30 preferred; forklift and fall protection trained; mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor).
• Strong communication skills, time management, and lead with integrity.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, able to stand or walk for long periods, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

• Work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Be able to work outside.
• Be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
