Job summary

Medcor is seeking an experienced EMT or Paramedic to serve as the Clinic Manager at our onsite construction clinic in Batavia, NY. This full-time role combines clinical care with operational leadership.

You will assess injuries, respond to emergencies, oversee daily clinic operations, coordinate workers' compensation cases, and collaborate with safety teams to maintain a healthy work environment. Weekend shifts are optional.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure appropriate for practice in New York (on-site clinic).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with 911 emergencies and/or critical care.
• Strong clinical assessment, emergency response, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to independently manage clinic operations and lead on-site medical setting.
• Excellent documentation and injury reporting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Comfort working in a construction environment and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor protocols.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies and provide care.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, workflows, scheduling, supplies, and admin tasks.
• Coordinate workers' compensation cases and support RTW programs.
• Collaborate with onsite construction and safety teams for health planning.
• Conduct pre-employment screenings and occupational health services.
• Maintain electronic medical records and injury reports.
• Build relationships with employees and onsite leadership.
