Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for our Transportation Construction Services Department in Chicago, IL. You will work with senior engineers and inspectors on a range of construction management projects.

Responsibilities include assisting with oversight, learning quality metrics and testing, making field calculations, and coordinating activities with staff. Onsite internship with 40+ hours/week potential.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a BS program and able to obtain Engineering-In-Training status.
• Must be at least a college sophomore.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of infrastructure projects in the construction phase.
• Learn quality metrics, testing requirements, and construction inspection duties.
• Make field work calculations and daily reports in a verifiable format.
• Coordinate work activities with project staff.
