Stanley Consultants is seeking a Transportation Construction Services Engineer-In-Training 1 in our Chicago, IL office to work on roadway and bridge construction management for arterial streets, freeways, and interchanges. You will collaborate with senior staff on a range of transportation projects and support documentation, reporting, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in civil engineering.
• Experience in engineering or construction preferred.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt.
• Active participation in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation of daily construction site activities.
• Prepare calculations for review and approval.
• Prepare reports, coordinate progress meetings with contractor and owner, manage shop drawing reviews.
• Resolve contractor questions and clarifications; plan drawing clarifications.
• Ensure quality of work and adherence to schedule.
• Maintain active client communications and support Business Development activities.
• Follow Stanley safety standards and practices.
