Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a construction services intern to support project teams with office tasks and on-site observations in Charlotte, NC, and other locations. You will take meeting minutes, assist with tracking logs, attend project meetings, and observe material testing under supervision.

You may review basic shop drawings and gather data to support project delivery. Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary construction program and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.

Responsibilities

• Takes meeting minutes.
• Assists in processing tracking logs and department deliverables.
• Attends and observes project meetings with internal and external teams.
• Observes on-site material testing.
• Assists with basic shop drawing review and ensures procedures/materials comply with plans.
• Reads construction drawings and materials and provides feedback as requested.
• Assists on portions of special projects as directed.
