Job summary

HNTB Corporation is offering a part-time internship to assist assigned department(s) with basic construction services tasks. The role includes meeting-minute taking, tracking-log processing, and supporting both internal and external project teams.

Responsibilities include observing on-site material testing, basic shop drawing review, and data collection. Requires a high school diploma or GED and current enrollment in a post-secondary construction program, with a preference for 2 years of study.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction services program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction office support tasks including taking meeting minutes and processing tracking logs.
• Attends and observes meetings with internal and external teams of a project.
• Observes on-site material testing.
• May assist with basic shop drawing review and ensure procedures and materials comply with plans and specs.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Reads construction drawings and provides feedback as requested.
