Job description

ATANE is seeking a Senior Inspector in our New York office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise Inspectors Level I and/or Level II.
2. Attend various meetings as needed related to assigned construction projects.
3. Perform inspections on large, complex, or multiple projects.
4. Submit detailed documentation of daily construction activities.
5. Assist with coordination of required project acceptance testing.
6. Perform materials inspection and acceptance prior to installation.
7. Point out potential problems to the contractor and project engineer, and keep project engineer and supervisor informed of project progress.
8. Responsible for job-specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual.
9. Submit extensive written reports and documentation; construction reports and logs are written and filed daily.
10. Review contractor payments.
11. Monitor contractors' compliance with safety plan requirements.
12. Train Inspectors I & II.
13. Perform other duties as may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

5+ Years’ experience.
