As a Middle & Large Business Construction Underwriter, you’ll lead the sales and underwriting process for complex construction accounts. You'll partner closely with agents, brokers, and internal stakeholders to deliver sustainable, profitable solutions.
Travel: 25%-30% to neighboring states Valid driver’s license (company pool car may be provided)
Note: Final position title and level will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
This role offers a Hybrid work arrangement: Candidates are expected to work at our Hartford office Tuesday through Thursday if they are not in-market.
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long‑term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
The annualized base pay range for this role is: $98,800 - $184,800
