Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a full-time Scheduler to support Structural Steel and PEMB operations. You will analyze General Contractor schedules, identify risks, and develop detailed erection schedules for steel and PEMB scopes of work.

Qualifications

• Strong scheduling experience in the construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of structural steel erection sequencing and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Review General Contractor baseline schedules during the bidding process.
• Analyze milestones, constraints, access requirements, and critical path activities.
• Identify schedule risks, logic concerns, unrealistic durations, or sequencing issues that may impact Sure Steel's scope.
• Develop preliminary structural steel and PEMB erection schedules for bid proposals.
• Assist estimating teams with schedule evaluations and duration assumptions.
• Provide schedule-driven manpower forecasts and production planning recommendations.
• Participate in bid review meetings and schedule strategy discussions.
• Develop detailed erection schedules for projects upon award.
• Create manpower-loading projections based on project durations.
• Evaluate schedule updates from General Contractors and identify impacts on Sure Steel's work.
• Assist project teams in developing recovery plans and acceleration strategies.
• Analyze delays and communicate impacts to management.
• Support project managers with schedule narratives, delay notices, and related correspondence.
• Track milestones, material deliveries, fabrication durations, site readiness, and erection progress.
• Verify production assumptions with superintendents and field leadership.
