Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Construction Scheduler to support a large-scale, long-term construction program in Omaha, NE. You will develop, maintain, and analyze detailed schedules for complex projects, collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate forecasting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of construction scheduling experience, fluent Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong MS Office/communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction scheduling experience.
• Fluent Primavera P6 experience — required.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing construction schedules.
• Strong understanding of project sequencing, milestones, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
• Experience with resource-loaded scheduling.
• Experience with delay analysis, time-impact analysis, and project risk.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Project Managers and cross-functional construction teams.
• High integrity, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership over your work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze schedules for large-scale construction projects.
• Create and maintain Primavera P6 project schedules.
• Build and maintain resource-loaded schedules aligned with project goals.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules.
• Identify scheduling risks, delays, and potential impacts.
• Perform schedule variance, delay, risk, and time-impact analyses.
• Prepare schedule-health reports, forecasts, and metrics for project leadership.
• Partner with Project Managers on scheduling strategies and execution plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, safety, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide insight into critical-path activities and risks.
• Assist with project cost and schedule completion forecasting.
• Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and reporting.
• Support internal scheduling processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced team members on scheduling software and best practices.
