Job summary

International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking a dedicated Scheduling Specialist to develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules for major construction initiatives in Omaha, NE. The role requires fluency in Primavera P6 and 2-5 years of construction experience to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.

On-site position with a focus on timely, cost-effective execution.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in Primavera P6.
2-5 years of construction experience required.
Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and update detailed project schedules for large-scale construction projects.
Develop resource-loaded schedules aligned with project goals and timelines.
Monitor progress, analyze delays, and report to project teams and stakeholders.
Prepare time impact analyses to identify risks and mitigation steps.
Collaborate with Project Manager on scheduling strategies for large projects.
Coordinate with engineers, procurement staff, and subcontractors to support schedule implementation.
Attend project meetings and provide schedule health insights.
Maintain scheduling documentation and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Assist in developing scheduling best practices and process controls.
Train team members on scheduling software and methodologies.
