Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Construction Scheduler to support a large-scale, long-term construction program in Omaha, NE. You will develop, maintain, and analyze detailed schedules for complex projects, collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate forecasting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of construction scheduling experience, fluent Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong MS Office/communication skills.

• Support internal scheduling processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced team members on scheduling software and best practices.

Compensation: $130,000–$140,000 Base + 2 Annual Bonuses + ESOP

The Opportunity

Our client is a large, 100% employee-owned construction organization with approximately 2,000 employees and a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. They are seeking a Construction Scheduler to join their Omaha team and support a major, long-term construction program. This position will be heavily involved in a 7-year project with an approximately $41M budget, offering significant stability, project ownership, and the opportunity to become deeply embedded in a large, complex construction effort.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional project teams to develop, maintain, and analyze schedules for large-scale construction projects.

• Perform schedule variance, delay, risk, and time-impact analyses
• Prepare schedule-health reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for project leadership
• Partner directly with Project Managers on scheduling strategies and execution plans
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, safety, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Participate in project meetings and provide insight into critical-path activities, milestones, and upcoming risks
• Assist with project cost and schedule completion forecasting
• Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and reporting
• Support internal scheduling processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance to less-experienced team members on scheduling software and best practices

The role is highly collaborative and works alongside Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, QA/QC, Procurement, Safety, and other project leadership.
