Pay: Hourly Rate + Travel Reimbursement + Per Diem

Hohl Industrial Services is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support a fast-track steel erection project. This short-term, onsite role will play a critical part in developing, monitoring, and maintaining a highly detailed construction schedule to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Level 5 construction schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to optimize work sequencing and identify schedule acceleration opportunities.
• Perform daily schedule updates and provide reporting against the plan.
• Create and manage resource-loaded schedules to support labor forecasting and allocation.
• Identify and report schedule conflicts, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with daily onsite logistics including identifying steel moves from staging areas to erection points.
• Coordinate material and hardware deliveries and address shortages with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support the Project Manager in preparing daily work plans for the superintendent and foremen.
• Track and coordinate quality control inspections.
• Monitor labor requirements and schedule alignment.
• Support administrative functions including documentation, reporting, and progress verification.
• Conduct daily site walk-downs to verify progress and support field coordination.
• Track subcontractor schedules and provide regular updates.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience in construction scheduling and managing critical paths.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience in steel erection or structural construction projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite construction environment.
• Availability to start within 2 weeks and commit to the full 16-week term.
  
  

Additional Information

• This is a contract/temporary position with travel and per diem expenses paid.
• The role is onsite only; remote work is not available.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
