Job summary

CBX Solutions is seeking a Sales Representative to maintain relationships with assigned customers, identify new opportunities, review plans and specifications, and oversee bids and related billing. The role involves solving problems on projects, coordinating with managers, and ensuring timely bid submissions.

Responsibilities include securing plans, taking off from plans, maintaining vendor relations, and attending project meetings to drive project success and profitability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Strong reading and interpretation of construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with assigned customers on a regular basis to check progress and generate leads.
• Cultivates new customer relationships with Managerial coordination.
• Secures construction plans and specifications for upcoming work to enable bidding.
• Participates in take-off and interpretation of specifications to maximize bid potential.
• Reviews bids for accuracy and submits in a timely fashion.
• Follows up on bid results and negotiates to capture jobs.
• Maintains vendor relationships and obtains competitive bids to maximize margins.
• Attends project meetings as required by customer or circumstances.
• Manages projects through proactive communication and monitoring of progress and vendor performance.
• Visits jobsites to attend meetings, check progress, or diagnose issues.
• Identifies and resolves customer-related or internal issues affecting the project.
• Participates in sales meetings to assess market opportunities and assign duties.
