Job summary

Miner Ltd. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Estimator for construction sales focused on loading dock and warehouse door projects. You will review drawings and specs, then submit bids with accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

Experience with dock & door bids is required to ensure precise pricing. The role demands strong estimating skills, ability to interpret construction drawings, and collaboration with project teams. A driver’s license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Strong estimating experience with accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Proven experience in construction estimating or quantity takeoff.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials and terminology.
• Experience with estimating software and digital takeoff tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage the entire construction sales process: targeting prospects, identifying solutions, negotiating and closing.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, measure and compute materials needed.
• Read blueprints/plans/specifications with accuracy to build estimates.
• Develop pricing from vendor quotes, data, and market conditions.
• Calculate labor, equipment, and production costs for complete estimates.
• Incorporate overhead, margins, and project factors into bids.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates meet requirements.
• Maintain documentation and support bid packages.
• Act as solutions consultant to address client issues and opportunities.
• Support growth plans and sharing knowledge with sales teams.
