Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator for Commercial Door & Dock Solutions to develop accurate project scopes from blueprints and site data, prepare material takeoffs, and pricing for bids.

Qualifications

• Prior estimating experience in construction, commercial doors, dock equipment, or related trade.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with estimating or takeoff software.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, schematics, and site information to develop accurate project scopes.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial door, dock, and access-control projects.
• Collaborate with sales on proposal development and pricing strategy.
• Track bid outcomes and refine estimating accuracy over time.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams to ensure estimates translate into deliverable scopes.
