Job summary

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC is seeking a Safety and Training Advisor to provide safety leadership and technical expertise on assigned projects. You will ensure compliance with safety plans and regulations, and lead training for employees and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, hazard correction, and coordinating with project management to maintain a safe workplace on site. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA/BA Degree in a Safety-related major.
• 1-5 years of safety-related experience.
• Preferred Certificates: OSHA 500, First Aid, CPR.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local, and company safety requirements.
• Ability to recognize hazards and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate safety oversight during construction operations.
• Provides project-specific safety training to employees and subcontractors.
• Documents safety violations or unsafe conditions and tracks corrective actions.
• Participates in incident investigations and analyzes root causes.
• Educates staff through on-the-spot training and Tailgate Meetings.
• Liaises with customers and regulatory agencies as needed.
