About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established Maryland general contractor seeking a hands‑on Construction Safety Supervisor to support commercial construction, heavy civil, highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects throughout Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career safety professional or an experienced construction foreman or field leader looking to transition into a dedicated safety role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being on jobsites, building relationships with crews, identifying hazards, and promoting a proactive safety culture, not someone who simply enforces rules from behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across active construction projects.
• Support safety compliance with OSHA, MOSHA, and company policies.
• Work closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with toolbox talks, safety meetings, employee training, and incident investigations.
• Support safety practices involving fall protection, traffic control, equipment operation, and construction activities.

• OSHA 10/30 experience preferred; OSHA 30 may be obtained after hire.
• Flagger/traffic control and fall protection training are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with field employees.
• Comfortable traveling between jobsites throughout Maryland.
• Hands‑on, outgoing, proactive personality with a genuine commitment to workplace safety.
