Job summary

Jobot is seeking a proactive Safety Specialist to support safety operations across multiple electrical construction sites. You will independently handle inspections, hazard identification, and corrective actions while partnering with field supervision to maintain safe, productive environments.

The role requires hands-on safety experience in construction, strong communication, and the ability to manage responsibilities across several projects with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction safety experience or equivalent.
• Completed OSHA 30-Hour Construction training.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and hazards.
• Experience conducting inspections and delivering safety information.
• Ability to manage routine safety tasks across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and observations.
• Identify hazards, document findings, and verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily safety support across projects and communicate priorities.
• Review pre-task plans and JHAs with field supervision.
• Deliver new-hire safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Support safety programs including fall, ladder, electrical, and equipment safety.
• Assist with incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and training documentation.
• Participate in project safety meetings with supervision and reps.
• Provide guidance to Safety Technicians and mentor field staff.
