Job summary

Tofel Dent Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to lead companywide health and safety programs across office and field operations in Phoenix, AZ. You will develop and implement safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect employees, job sites, and project teams.

The role requires at least 5 years of safety experience in ground-up construction, OSHA 30 certification, and strong communication skills to present safety information to leadership and crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in construction.
• Experience managing safety across multiple ground-up projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to construction.
• Ability to present safety information to leadership and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations across sites.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations; document findings.
• Track safety metrics, maintain logs, analyze trends, and report performance.
• Lead safety committee meetings and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety resources including manuals and signage.
