Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Safety Manager to join our Dallas team. You will lead safety programs, develop training for field and office personnel, and ensure compliance across multiple projects nationwide.

Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, investigations, and meetings; collaborating with project managers and subcontractors to uphold best practices; and traveling 2–3 days per week to sites locally and nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety and health experience in construction.
• Prior construction experience is required.
• BS in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• STS, CHST, CSP or similar certification(s) preferred.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead training on risk management in office and field settings.
• Provide on-the-spot job site training to Superintendents, subcontractors, and associates.
• Attend preconstruction and other project meetings as required.
• Lead safety portions of meetings during construction processes.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and publish improvement reports.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Subcontractors on safety policies.
• Review engineered plans for safety hazards with Project Managers.
• Visit 15+ job sites nationwide monthly and provide support.
• Conduct formal investigations into work-related incidents.
• Maintain knowledge of Local, State, and Federal safety regulations.
• Travel to jobsites 2-3 days/week locally and nationwide.
