Job summary

ARCO, a family of construction companies in Nashville, seeks a motivated Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives from day one. You will train teams, inspect sites, and collaborate with project staff to enforce safety standards across nationwide sites.

The role requires travel 2–3 days per week, strong communication, and a commitment to safety excellence in dynamic field environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Health and Safety or closely related field.
• STS, CHST or CSP or similar certification preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead training on risk management for office and field settings.
• Provide on-the-spot job site safety training for superintendents, subcontractors, and associates.
• Attend preconstruction and other project meetings as required.
• Lead safety portions of weekly/monthly meetings throughout the construction process.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and publish reports for internal improvement and compliance.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Subcontractors to ensure safety policies and best practices.
