Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety on projects in Trenton and Titusville, NJ, roughly 50/50 between sites. You will oversee contractor safety, perform audits, lead toolbox talks, and support incident investigations to keep work sites compliant and safe.

The role requires OSHA 30-Hour Construction and OSHA 510 certification, strong leadership and communication, and willingness to travel between locations. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
• OSHA 510 certification is required.
• Experience leading construction safety programs and contractor safety oversight.
• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.

Construction Safety Manager — Trenton / Titusville, NJ

HazTek is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support construction projects across two locations in Trenton and Titusville, NJ. This position will split time approximately 50/50 between the sites and provide safety leadership, contractor oversight, and project-level support to help teams identify risks and maintain safe working conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with project leadership to identify construction safety risks and address emerging concerns.
• Oversee contractor safety performance and compliance with applicable regulations, site requirements, and construction safety plans.
• Conduct regular site audits, safety inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators, develop performance metrics, and communicate concerns to project leadership.
• Lead project safety performance reviews and develop and deliver construction safety presentations.
• Support incident investigations and monitor corrective actions through completion.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams as a construction safety subject matter expert.
• Participate in safety reviews during project design and planning.
• Implement safety initiatives and share best practices and lessons learned across projects.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• OSHA 510 required.
• Experience managing construction safety and overseeing contractor safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of applicable construction health and safety regulations.
• Experience with audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety performance reporting.
