Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support construction projects across two locations in Trenton and Titusville, NJ. The role splits time 50/50 between sites and provides safety leadership, contractor oversight, and project-level support to help teams identify risks and maintain safe working conditions.

Ideal candidates will have OSHA 30-Hour Construction and OSHA 510 certifications, strong knowledge of regulations, and proven ability to travel regularly between

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
• OSHA 510 certification is required.
• Experience managing construction safety programs.
• Ability to travel regularly between Trenton and Titusville locations.

Responsibilities

• Identify construction safety risks with project leadership.
• Oversee contractor safety performance and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site audits, safety inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators and report to leadership.
• Lead project safety reviews and deliver safety presentations.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance as a safety SME.
• Participate in safety reviews during design and planning.
• Share best practices across projects.
