Construction Safety Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety at all stages of our commercial masonry and waterproofing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and best practices, promoting a culture of safety, and reducing workplace accidents.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for all aspects of construction projects
2. Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
3. Train and educate employees and subcontractors on safety procedures and best practices
4. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA and SSHO standards
5. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, investigations, and corrective actions
6. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into all project planning and execution

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management or similar field PREFERRED
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Manager in the construction industry
3. Current SSHO or ASP certification preferred
4. BCSP or CSP certification also preferred
5. Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards
6. Strong communication and leadership skills
7. Experience in commercial masonry and waterproofing preferred
