Job summary

Core Talent Services is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support safety initiatives across commercial and industrial construction projects. You will oversee field safety operations, promote regulatory compliance, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities include developing safety programs, conducting inspections, leading incident investigations, and ensuring timely hazard mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or 3+ years of construction safety management experience.
• Experience overseeing safety on large-scale commercial/industrial projects (50M+).
• OSHA 500 Authorized Instructor certification.
• Working knowledge of environmental compliance including stormwater planning and administration.
• Ability to travel or relocate as project needs require.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction safety programs, policies, and procedures across active projects.
• Partner with project teams to identify hazards and establish safety protocols.
• Develop and monitor safety performance metrics across self-perform teams and subcontractors.
• Review and support Job Hazard Analyses, site safety plans, and environmental plans.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, address deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee incident investigations, document findings, and implement preventive measures.
• Deliver site-specific safety orientations for multilingual workforces.
• Evaluate workers' compensation and general liability claims and prepare safety reports.
• Participate in pre-bid and post-award meetings to set safety expectations for projects.
• Provide leadership across field and administrative safety management functions.
