Job summary

W.E. O’Neil is seeking a Safety Manager in Denver, CO, to lead safety programs, train personnel, and ensure OSHA/Cal OSHA compliance across projects. You will partner with field teams to reduce incidents, manage risk, and promote a culture of safety.

The role emphasizes mentoring, subcontractor coordination, and proactive safety initiatives within a dynamic construction environment in the Denver area.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in OSH, CM, or related field (or equivalent field experience).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proactive safety leadership.
• Experience analyzing safety data and creating improvement plans.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong subcontractor safety relationships.
• Mentor project personnel on safety goals and resolutions.
• Coordinate safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA/Cal OSHA.
• Promote safe behavior and implement company safety programs.
• Attend safety committees and training sessions.
