Job summary

Safety Worxs is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager in Ravensdale, Washington to lead safety on a construction project and provide hands-on field leadership in the site environment.

You will oversee the project safety program, conduct inspections and investigations, deliver trainings, and ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards while mentoring site safety personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Experience in a Safety Manager or similar leadership role on active construction projects.
• EM 385-1-1 experience required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• Ability to mentor safety professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the project safety program, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain field presence and promote safe work practices with project teams.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Develop site safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Ensure safety permits, certifications, and documentation remain current.
• Provide safety guidance related to construction activities and regulatory requirements.
• Review JHAs, DHAs, AHAs, and site safety documentation.
