Job summary

CleanSpace Modular LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to promote a culture of safety across construction projects. You will develop and oversee safety programs, conduct site inspections, lead training, and ensure OSHA compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain it, and strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with project teams and subcontractors on risk reduction and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required or ability to obtain.
• CHST, CSP or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain construction site safety plans, policies, and programs.
• Conduct routine job site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to reinforce safe work practices.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, training logs, and safety meeting records.
• Monitor and enforce the proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and field personnel to address safety concerns.
• Train and mentor employees and supervisors on workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor changes to OSHA standards and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Assist in developing emergency response plans and coordinating drills.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety performance and reduce workplace incidents across projects.
