Job summary

CleanSpace is seeking a Safety Manager to promote and maintain a safe working environment across construction sites. You will develop, implement, and oversee safety programs, conduct site inspections, lead trainings, and investigate incidents to ensure OSHA compliance.

You will collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to reduce risks, maintain documentation, and drive a strong safety culture. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction safety or a related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required or the ability to obtain certification.
• CHST, CSP, or other recognized safety certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain construction site safety plans, policies, and programs.
• Conduct routine job site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to reinforce safe work practices.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, training logs, and safety meeting records.
• Monitor and enforce the proper use of PPE and compliance with established safety procedures.
