Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Safety Manager to oversee safety operations across several active construction projects in the Charleston area. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with field leadership to maintain safe, productive job sites.

The role requires conducting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and ongoing safety training for crews and subcontractors, including toolbox talks and JHA reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple job sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce safety programs, policies, and OSHA standards across projects.
• Conduct routine inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and reviews.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective action plans.
• Provide new hire safety orientations and ongoing field training.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness initiatives.
• Review JHAs and site safety plans for high-risk activities.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and documentations.
• Partner with Project Managers to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain OSHA logs, inspection reports, and regulatory records.
• Serve as the primary safety resource across project sites.
