Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Safety Manager to oversee safety operations across several active construction projects in the Charleston area. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with field leadership to maintain safe, productive job sites.

The role requires conducting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and ongoing safety training for crews and subcontractors, including toolbox talks and JHA reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple job sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Manager to support a leading commercial construction organization in the Charleston area. This individual will oversee safety operations across multiple active construction projects, including schools, healthcare facilities, and automotive dealership developments.

This is a highly visible role responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing project risk, and partnering with field leadership to maintain safe and productive job sites.

What You'll Do

• Lead and enforce company safety programs, policies, and OSHA compliance standards across multiple construction projects
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and compliance reviews
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries while developing corrective action plans
• Facilitate new hire safety orientations and provide ongoing training for field teams and subcontractors
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness initiatives
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), site-specific safety plans, and high-risk work activities
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and maintain required documentation
• Partner closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Maintain OSHA logs, inspection reports, and regulatory records
• Serve as the primary safety resource across assigned project sites

What We're Looking For
