Responsibilities

• Manages and implements the field safety program and team for construction projects.
• Communicates safety philosophies and values to safety team members, foremen, superintendents and project managers to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Acts as a resource to help staff interpret company, owner, and government safety policies and recommendations.
• Compiles accident statistics, performs trend analysis and recommends changes to safety programs.
• Administers and monitors safety drug and alcohol testing per requirements.
• Implements accident and incident reporting protocols and ensures proper reporting channels.
• Assists in investigations to ensure proper documentation and abatement implementation.
• Coordinates with external insurance contacts on safety-related claims and medical treatment.
