Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee site safety across projects in our Texas portfolio. You will enforce safety policies, lead education, and partner with project teams to develop safe work plans.

The role requires 4+ years in construction safety, strong communication, and experience with crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety. Expect field-based work on active job sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction safety experience or equivalent
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners
• Proven training/experience in managing crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety
• Excellent communication to persuade a broad range of stakeholders from craft workers to executives
• Strong multi‑tasking in deadline driven environments
• Aligned with Clark Standards of Excellence: motivated, results‑oriented, adaptable, team player

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project
• Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and general public
• Enforce corporate and project safety programs and local safety standards
• Mentor safety staff and assist in their development
• Identify known or potential exposures and recommend corrective actions
• Develop and implement project specific safety programs
• Coordinate with field supervision to include hazard mitigation in planning
• Develop project safety education for subcontractors based on activities or trends
