Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking a seasoned Environmental Health & Safety lead to enforce safety programs on a construction project within the unit's geographic area.

You will train project teams on safe work practices and guide management of environmental and hazardous materials reports, ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Degree in safety/engineering field with construction focus.
• CHST certification within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project as per HQ policy.
• Develop action plans to mitigate risks and improve safety awareness.
• Train project teams on EH&S programs and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with project leadership to create safety reports and metrics.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance and training.
• Conduct safety audits and issue corrective actions.
• Hold preconstruction safety meetings and review risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, local regulations and owner requirements.
• Maintain relationships with project staff and subcontractor safety reps.
