Westinghouse Electric Company, through its WECTEC Staffing Services affiliate, is seeking a Safety Specialist for a 12-month assignment in Easter, TX. You will partner with project teams to enforce safety plans, conduct on-site audits, and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence.

The role requires OSHA 30, first aid/CPR, and experience in energy or construction environments. You’ll promote a strong safety culture, deliver trainings, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualificações

• OSHA 30 hour certification required.
• First Aid/CPR trained and qualified.
• Experience in health and safety on construction or energy sites.
• Strong incident investigation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify project risks with the Superintendent of Construction.
• Implement safety philosophies with Sr. Safety Lead.
• Promote safe work practices among team members.
• Study safety plan effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Provide training on safety plans and company policies.
• Monitor contractor safety plan compliance with on-site audits.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Prepare reports and conduct pre-job hazard analyses.
• Lead safety meetings and reinforce site-specific procedures.
