Job summary

Environmental And Safety Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Safety Associate to lead project safety and serve as a key representative to owners, contractors, and project stakeholders.

You will lead daily site safety activities, conduct inspections and hazard assessments, develop site safety plans and JSAs/JHAs, investigate incidents, and provide safety training and guidance to crews. Collaborating with project leadership, you will foster a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Credential CSP, CIH, ASP, ARM, CHST or OHST with 3 years of construction safety experience.
• 5+ years of relevant construction safety experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a proven construction safety track record.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily site safety and health activities, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Conduct safety meetings and maintain agendas, minutes, action items, and attendance records.
• Document inspection findings and track corrective actions through closeout.
• Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and required reporting.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, policies, JSAs/JHAs, and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable OSHA construction/general industry requirements.
• Provide ongoing safety training, coaching, and compliance guidance to site personnel.
• Work closely with the owner, contractors, subcontractors, and project leadership to drive a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• CSP, CIH, ASP, ARM, CHST, OHST, or a similar credential + 3 years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years of relevant construction safety experience.
