Job summary

Lee Construction Group, Inc. in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to join our safety team working in-person on construction sites.

You will help protect workers by developing programs, conducting inspections, and guiding risk management while supporting project teams. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a relevant degree, and 3–5 years in safety management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or related field.
• CSP, CHST, OSHA-30 or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of safety management experience in construction.
• Proficient in OSHA regulations and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards.
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigations.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and PPE education.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into operations.
• Drive continuous safety improvements.
