Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in Chicago, IL to provide leadership on safety programs across construction projects.

You will mentor field staff, oversee OSHA compliance, and foster strong subcontractor safety practices on multiple sites. The role requires a four-year degree in safety-related fields, 3-7 years of construction safety experience, and the ability to coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3-7 years of relevant project field experience in construction safety.
• CHST certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong subcontractor safety relationships with subcontractors and upper safety management.
• Mentor project personnel on safety goals, concerns and resolutions.
• Inform WEO and project teams of safety risks and corrective actions.
• Promote use of Safety Mojo to improve field efficiency and safety performance.
• Conduct safety training in construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Enforce and improve WEO safety programs across projects.
