Job summary

Compliance Management International seeks a Construction Safety Professional to partner with General Contractors, implement safety programs, and ensure regulatory compliance across construction projects. The role demands a strong field presence and leadership across trades.

You will mentor field personnel on OSHA standards, lead safety meetings, and drive a proactive safety culture with site teams. A relevant health & safety degree or certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required (within last 5 years).
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required.
• BCSP certifications (STS-C, CHST, CSP) preferred.
• OSHA 510/500, NFPA 70E or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a safety resource to the General Contractor, subcontractors, and project team.
• Mentor, coach, and train field personnel on OSHA standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Promote a positive safety culture through engagement with workers and site leadership.
• Participate in and support daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings as required by the project.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections, audits, and observations; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety processes including pre-task planning (PTP), JSAs, permit programs, and incident investigations.
• Facilitate new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific training.
• Monitor OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and site-specific safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and metrics for project leadership.
