Job summary

LeoForce, a design-build AEC firm, is seeking a Safety Manager in the Westmont, IL area. This mid-level role focuses on developing and implementing robust, company-wide safety programs to protect workers and projects across Chicagoland.

You will collaborate with project teams to create site-specific plans, lead investigations, and drive a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and continuous improvement across all sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction safety experience in commercial settings.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification current.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve company-wide construction safety programs.
• Create site-specific safety plans and risk mitigation.
• Lead safety investigations and corrective actions.
• Perform regular jobsite inspections and audits.
• Monitor safety metrics and report trends.
• Ensure OSHA documentation and records are maintained.
• Deliver safety training on fall protection, scaffolding, and hazards.
