Job summary

LeoForce in Glenview, IL is seeking a Construction Superintendent / SSHO to lead field operations on government and military construction projects in the Chicagoland area. The role combines project execution with site safety leadership, ensuring compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, coordinate safety and health programs, and drive on-time, on-budget project delivery on federally funded work.

Qualifications

• Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and owner walkthroughs.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated SSHO on federal projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Accident Prevention Plans (APPs).
• Prepare and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) for all definable features of work.
