Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a seasoned Safety Professional to lead site safety on major projects in the Boston area. You will implement corporate safety policies, conduct inspections, train crews, and coordinate with regional risk management to reduce incidents.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction health and safety, OSHA outreach trainer certification, CHST target, and strong communication skills to drive best practices on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction health and safety experience.
• OSHA Construction Industry Outreach Trainer.
• Willingness to pursue CHST within two years.
• CPR Instructor training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular site inspections and records conditions using Predictive Solutions.
• Coordinates, schedules and facilitates subcontractors' Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings.
• Reviews Subcontractors' Site Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Performs accident investigations and documents reports.
• Conducts OSHA 10/30 and HAZWOPER training for on-site personnel.
