Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Construction Safety intern to gain hands-on experience on active construction projects.

You will support the Safety, Health, and Operational Risk processes, help implement the site Accident Prevention Plan, and work with project and field teams to drive risk reduction. This internship targets students pursuing an EHS bachelor’s degree (sophomore–senior) with knowledge of OSHA, ANSI Z10, EM-385, and experience delivering safety training.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an EHS-related bachelor degree (sophomore–senior).
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI Z10, EM-385 safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
• Experience delivering S&H training; familiarity with 1910/1926 regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H), and ORM processes.
• Help implement site Accident Prevention Plan; conduct audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Safety Management, and Field Management on ORM implementation.
