M.C. Dean is seeking a Construction Safety intern to support safety programs across diverse construction and electrical safety management systems. You will work with project management and safety teams to implement risk controls and participate in audits, trainings, and documentation tasks.

The role emphasizes safety process execution, incident investigations, and collaboration with field leadership to promote a safety-first culture. Located in various VA/MD locations with potential for travel.

Qualifications

• Working toward an EHS-related Bachelor of Science degree (Sophomore, Junior or Senior).
• Knowledge of safety and health standards, rules and OSHA/ANSI/OHSAS/ISO frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H) and Operational Risk Management processes.
• Aid in implementing site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and conduct audits/inspections.
• Support project management, safety management and field management in ORM implementation and leadership.
• Assist with orientations, accident investigations, safety trainings, document control, and safety administration tasks.
