Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Safety for our landscape construction operations in Arizona. The role demands Spanish language proficiency, extensive safety leadership, and deep OSHA construction knowledge.

You will guide safety programs across multiple active job sites, translate data into field actions, and partner with executives to drive safety performance. You will spend significant time in the field, coaching leaders, conducting investigations, and developing company-wide safety initiatives

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive safety experience in related industries.
• Spanish speaking required.
• Experience leading safety programs across multiple active jobsites.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety regulations.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.
• Experience developing and implementing company-wide safety programs, policies and training.

Responsibilities

• Walk an active construction site with a Foreman.
• Meet with Account Managers and Project Managers to address safety concerns.
• Coach a Crew Leader on hazard recognition.
• Investigate an employee injury or vehicle accident.
• Review safety metrics with executive leadership.
• Develop company-wide safety initiatives.
• Hold leaders accountable for safety performance.
