Jobot is seeking a Director of Safety for our landscape construction operations in Arizona. The role demands Spanish language proficiency, extensive safety leadership, and deep OSHA construction knowledge.

You will guide safety programs across multiple active job sites, translate data into field actions, and partner with executives to drive safety performance. You will spend significant time in the field, coaching leaders, conducting investigations, and developing company-wide safety initiatives

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive safety experience in related industries.
• Spanish speaking required.
• Experience leading safety programs across multiple active jobsites.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety regulations.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.
• Experience developing and implementing company-wide safety programs, policies and training.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of progressive safety experience, preferably within landscape construction, landscape maintenance, commercial construction, or a closely related industry.
• Spanish Speaking
• Demonstrated experience leading safety programs across multiple active jobsites and field operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting:
  1. Jobsite inspections
  2. Safety audits
  3. Incident investigations
  4. Root-cause analysis
  5. Risk assessments
  6. Corrective action planning
• Experience developing and implementing company-wide safety programs, policies, procedures, and training.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership and operational leaders.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction and maintenance means, methods, equipment, and field hazards.
• Ability to translate safety data into practical actions that improve field performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence employees and leaders at all levels of an organization.
• Ability and willingness to spend significant time in the field and travel between locations and active project sites.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

• CSP - Certified Safety Professional
• CHST - Construction Health and Safety Technician
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction
• OSHA 510 - Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction
• First Aid / CPR / AED
• Other construction safety, occupational health, or risk-management certifications are a plus.

The Director of Safety must be able to lead through influence, relationships, accountability, and credibility, while maintaining the authority necessary to address serious safety concerns.
